Welcome to Millers Walks (and Photo gallery)

On the first Sunday each month* we meet at Millers Tea Room and Farm Shop , Raywell, at 10 am and then set off about 10.20 for a leisurely walk of around two hours (4 to 5 miles). This helps us build up a healthy appetite for Sunday lunch back at the Team Room where tables can be reserved before setting off.

Why not come along and take the opportunity to make new friends while enjoying the many changes that take place in the local countryside month by month.

The walks are usually led by Iain Colquhoun who knows the walks and local area well. There are few gradients in the areas we walk so you don't need to be super fit to take part. In fact both old and young, experienced and not so experienced walkers are very welcome to join us. Although it is advisable to wear strong walking shoes and carry a cool drink and waterproofs we are not walking in the Himalayas and are never that far from cover, should the weather break.

*The walks do not run in July or August

To give you an idea of what you might see on the walks and how the countryside changes during the year some photographs taken during the walks held from January through to June 2010 can be viewed here.
